“Dream your life in colors, it’s the secret of happiness.” We’ve all sung that line from Peter Pan, haven’t we? At Made of Sundays, we truly believe in it. Color has the power to brighten up a room and your mood. Especially here in the Nordics, where winter lasts forever and daylight feels like a precious treat.
That’s why working with Katia Sanchez felt like the most natural thing in the world. A shared love for cheerful design, high-quality materials, and slow production brought us together. Something colorful was born.
If Katia Sanchez’s name rings a bell, it’s no surprise. She co-founded the beloved French brand Des Petits Hauts back in 1999. After leaving that adventure in 2017, she took a break. She traveled and then returned to her roots: high-quality knitwear and playful colors, under her own name.

Today, Katia Sanchez' sweaters are made in Italy by Marzia. They use the best 100% natural mohair. These sweaters are RMS-certified and built to last. Her signature? Cozy, uplifting jumpers that don’t pill, are made in small-batch preorders, and quickly become forever favorites.
We instantly fell in love with her Brigitte sweater, with its soft rainbow stripes. So we decided to turn it into wallpaper.
This exclusive Peel & Stick adhesive wallpaper design brings Katia’s rainbow knit to life on your walls. It's printed to order by us, using non-toxic inks on high-quality adhesive material.

This colorful pattern can brighten up a bedroom or an entryway. It also works well as a unique backsplash in a kitchen or bathroom. Easy to apply and easy to fall in love with.
And if the Brigitte pattern is not exactly what you are looking for, you can directly create your own wallpaper design here.
Just like Katia’s preorder-only sweaters, our wallpaper is made to order. That means zero overproduction and zero waste. We believe in creating things that matter, at a human pace.
And if you love DIY? Katia also offers knitting kits, so you can bring her colorful world to life with your own two hands. It’s the kind of cozy, rewarding project perfect for fall and winter time.

We enjoyed working on this project (hehe check this video), but we wanted it to be more than just a visually appealing outcome. It’s a celebration of what happens when interior design meets slow fashion. A rainbow sweater can become a bold wall statement. Color can also become a way of life.
